Google’s Notebooklm Audio Overview AI generated podcasts

Google’s NotebookLM Audio Overview is a new and free tool that transforms your documents into engaging audio summaries. Using advanced AI, it creates a podcast-style conversation between two virtual hosts, bringing your document’s content to life dynamically and interactively. This feature offers a convenient way to absorb information, whether you prefer listening or need to stay informed while on the go. Upload your document to a “notebook,” click “Generate,” and your Audio Overview is ready within minutes.

I have also started to test PDF2Audio, an open-source alternative to NotebookLM. This tool generates lectures as well as podcasts and allows you to select from a variety of voices.
