Refreshments are a vital ingredient of any Knowledge Café, although they are not essential.
Refreshments are a vital ingredient of any Knowledge Café, although they are not essential.
After all, the Cafe is a metaphor for a conversation over coffee, a glass of wine, or a light meal.
Integrated into the Café process well, refreshments can complement the social interaction and conversations between the participants. Still, if poorly done, they can detract from the free flow of the conversation and severely deplete the energy in a Café.
You can provide refreshments before, during, or after the core Café activity.
Status: Work in progress.
