Measuring the success of a Knowledge Café is not easy.
Measuring the success of a Knowledge Café is not easy.
First, there is no single measure of the success of a Café.
Second, there are no planned outcomes.
Furthermore, the outcomes are soft and are best expressed by “what people take away in their heads.”
So, how do you measure success?
The first point is that every Café should have a clear purpose.
If the purpose is clear, then this makes it easier to gauge success.
Given the outcomes are “what people take away in their heads”, measures are subjective. One participant may get a great deal out of a Café while another may think it a waste of time.
In light of this, probably the best way of gauging success is via a simple survey of the participants.
A web service such as Survey Monkey is ideal.
