Deep Code: Rule Omega + Ethical Corrollary
Give people the benefit of the doubt: When having a conversation with someone to make sense of a situation or discuss new ideas and they say something that you consider stupid, don’t tell them it’s a stupid idea but ask them to expand on their thoughts. They may know something you don’t.
