Sonja Blignaut is the founder of More Beyond and has been working in the fields of narrative and complexity since 2002.
I have followed Sonja’s work for almost 20 years but only personally know her a little. What I like about her work in complexity is her ability to talk about it in everyday language that people can understand as in the video below.
Many people believe that complexity is just higher-order complicatedness i.e. that there is a continuum and that the difference is one of degree, not type.
When one considers however how very different these states are from each other, I tend to agree with Dave Snowden when he says that there are in fact phase shifts between them i.e. they are fundamentally different types of systems.
