In a customized Knowledge Café, I design a Knowledge Café specifically to meet your needs, such as this one for Johnson & Johnson in Ireland in November 2015
.
I would typically run a customized Knowledge Café in-house for your staff members or clients, partners, suppliers, or members of your business networks during the day or the evening.
Sometimes, these events are opened more widely, and I invite members of my Gurteen Knowledge Community. I have 20,000+ members worldwide. This is useful for injecting diversity of opinion into the conversations.
- Duration: 2 hrs.
- Number of participants: Minimum of 12, Maximum 30.
- I can run the Café for more people but must modify the process. This may mean that the value gleaned from the Café may not be quite what it could be. A group of about 24 people works best.
- The room must have small tables that seat 3 or 4 people per table. The tables should be small and round. Small Square tables are also acceptable. The tables and chairs must be easy to move.
- The Knowledge Café cannot be run in a lecture theatre.
Contact me if you would like to learn more about customized Knowledge Cafés, how I design and run them, and the cost.
This is the energy that emerges in a well-designed and run Knowledge Café.In-person, 7–11 September 2026, Warbrook House, Hampshire, UK
We are living and working in conditions of uncertainty, complexity, and rapid change. Many leadership approaches still rely on control, expertise, and tools that no longer fit the realities people face.
This week-long immersive workshop brings people together to practise Conversational Leadership as a shared, lived experience. It is not a training course but a space to slow down, think together, and explore how leadership emerges through dialogue, responsibility, and real engagement.
