Principle: Conversation is Sovereign.
The Knowledge Café aims to facilitate meaningful conversations. To do this, it is important to eliminate anything that could hinder open communication. Creating a welcoming space for dialogue and shared learning is key.The foundational principle underpinning the Café’s design and process is to create an atmosphere that promotes open conversations and meaningful dialogues.
This principle forms the bedrock of a successful Knowledge Café, and all other tenets derive from it.
To achieve this objective, it is vital to eliminate any barriers that could impede the free flow of conversation, such as presentations, flip-charts, and other tools that might divert attention from the primary focus.
By ensuring that discussions remain unrestricted, participants can engage more deeply with one another and generate valuable insights and ideas.
Conversation is king.
Content is just something to talk about.
