Comment: Terry astutely points out that while having an open mind is generally lauded as a virtue, it also leaves us susceptible to influence from others who may attempt to inculcate their own beliefs and ideologies, whether intentionally or not.The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
