An attitude is a learned tendency (disposition) to evaluate, think, or feel about someone or something (issues, events, objects) in a certain way. It is typically reflected in our behavior.

Researchers suggest three components constitute an attitude:
- An Emotional Component: How the object, person, issue, or event makes us feel.
- A Cognitive Component: Our thoughts and beliefs about the subject.
- A Behavioral Component: How the attitude influences our behavior.
